With a crazy week filled with public holidays and very little news the ZA Car Show Team convene to talk about the latest goings on in the executive car space which doesn’t seem to have been affected by the recession, car prices in South Africa and whether or not we could actually afford to buy the cars we would like these days.

ZA Car Show: Episode 25

To celebrate our 25th episode, we pretend we went to Geneva and report back on the latest models. The economic recession’s full effects are felt as Aston Martin launches its R15-million (one million Euro) supercar, the 1-77. Lamborghini has the Murcielago SV, Rolls Royce a baby Phantom and Spyker a fantastic-looking model called the Aileron. We also lay into SUVs just a little bit more and all get very ‘Excited’ about another VW Citi Golf. Sigh.

Christo gets excited about the new Chevrolet Spark, and the team reviews the Renault Twingo 1.2 Dynamique+

ZA Car Show: Episode 17

We’re back on track coming at you with the great sounds of smooth soothing voices…who are we trying to kid? The regular team of Trevor Squared, Patrick Gearing and Christo van Gemert do a final wrapup of the show for 2008. ZA Car Show: Episode 13

Episode 13 includes some new model launches for South Africa in the form of the Honda Jazz and Accord Touring plus BMW’s face lifted 3-Series. We also have a review of the huge Audi A8 3.0TDI and pick our favourite highlights of the 2008 Johannesburg International Motorshow.
