About ZA Car

Who are we?

ZA Car started in 2008, as ZA Car Show - South Africa’s first motoring podcast. Imagine a bunch of well-read guys sitting around drinking beer and eating pizza, then talking about cars. That’s pretty much it.

Except, we add a bit of flavour by interviewing and hosting guests from the industry, as well as inviting other motoring journalists to join us, as we dissect cars, events, and petrolhead culture.

Occasionally we’ll even review a car, depending on what we’ve felt like driving recently.

The ZA Car team consists of Trevor van de Ven and Christo van Gemert, both who have a number of years of experience in the motoring industry and journalism.
