Wouldn’t be accurate this way: Italian “styled”, American power, South African “designed”?

After all, if memory serves me correctly, the chassis and the plan or layout of associated mechanicals were conceived by “Superperformance” of South Africa. The “styling” of the sports coupe’s outer body was of course outsourced to an Italian concern, as the engine too, happens to be an off-the-shelf item that just so happen to be American in origin.
