Episode 28 of ZA Car Show brings the regular four together, along with South African motorsport legend, Anthony Taylor. Amongst talk of motorsport and Formula 1, we also look at the new demerit license system, review a VW Tiguan 1.4TSI, and answer a listener’s pressing question.

If you're looking for a small SUV, you can't go wrong with the Tiguan, but make sure its the TSI. If you've bought the TDI or TFSI, you've bought the wrong car.

We have a guest on our show this week. Its automotive photographer Waldo Swiegers who joins the team to talk about cars, and his take on automotive design and photography. We also get into the latest news from South Africa and the rest of the world, while Tuck manages to press everyone’s buttons again. The SA Car of the Year was announced – the Honda Accord – while we review the Audi S3 Sportback.

This 188kW hatch with 4WD not only drives well, it looks bloody good too

The family man's hot hatch. Quick, sticks like chewing gum to your shoe

This week we hit the road for officially celebrating half a year of podcasts with Episode 26 and an Audi TTS. South Africa’s minibus taxi drivers were up in arms as arrests came thick and fast for road transgressions and while they were being thrown in the chookie, Honda was silently launching a new model while Christo tried his hardest to be taken seriously in a convertible Audi TT.

Pretty in white: Christo would like to make the TTS his bride

To celebrate our 25th episode, we pretend we went to Geneva and report back on the latest models. The economic recession’s full effects are felt as Aston Martin launches its R15-million (one million Euro) supercar, the 1-77. Lamborghini has the Murcielago SV, Rolls Royce a baby Phantom and Spyker a fantastic-looking model called the Aileron. We also lay into SUVs just a little bit more and all get very ‘Excited’ about another VW Citi Golf. Sigh.
Christo gets excited about the new Chevrolet Spark, and the team reviews the Renault Twingo 1.2 Dynamique+

"Pah, you peasants! I needed something smaller to get to work and back in; a city car if you will." The new small Rolls Royce is diminutive -- it's only about the size of a BMW 7-Series

The furthest looking thing to a aeroplane wing, but nevertheless unmistakably Spyker

The raging bull just got more...er...enraged.

In the spirit of fast cars... Wait, this is apprently new. New in the way that your grandmother might be young for a 76 year-old.

Heading rapidly for a full half-year of motoring podcasts, the team of Trevor van de Ven, Christo van Gemert, Patrick Gearing and Trevor Tuck take a look at some local motoring news in South Africa from its motor sportsman of the year to the two South African built supercars and budget cars. Are you in the market to buy an SUV? Listen to this podcast to get some opinons on you should rather be buying the Honda Accord Touring.

South Africa's first hypercar - Porsche-powered LeMans lookalike for the road

Italian design, American power, South African labour. The Perana name is revived and will be showcased at Geneva home of the United Nations - how apt.
